Kwesi Arthur Tag His BET 18 Nomination As A Blessing

Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur is thankful for the 2018 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards nomination even though he didn’t win.
He missed out on the ‘Viewers’ Choice – Best New International Act’ award to South African artiste, Sjava. Arthur thanked the people who “voted” and “supported” him in his quest for the international award.
“Thank you for everyone that voted! Everyone that supported me! Everyone that has believed in our movement from the start! Even though we did not win the award. Being nominated alone is a blessing!” reads a tweet by Arthur this week.
Details below.

Arthur gained mainstream acclaim after the release of his song ‘Grind Day.’ The remix of the song featuring Sarkodie and Medikal cemented his appeal to music fans.
The 2018 Ghana Music Awards ‘Hip Pop Song of the Year’ winner has since featured on a number of songs by both mainstream and ‘underground’ artistes.
