My Contribution To Reggae/Dancehall in Ghana Can't Be Quantified - LinguaKat

Linguakat in a recent interview has revealed his contributions in making the genre one of the forestanding in the history of Ghana music.

Speaking on Amsterdam based Radio Razo's Thursday Night Showcase with GrandMaster Blayz, he narrated his contribution as enormous, mentioning Kaakie and Xali Hali as few acts he helped into limelight.

He shared his thoughts on why a few popular artiste are being hailed for the genre when so many works assiduously behind.

"The few reigning artiste are not doing strictly dancehall songs but intermittently switching between other known Ghanaian music genres; highlife and hiplife, to get the audience appeal", he said.

Linguakat lamented on the challenges with Reggae/Dancehall in Ghana, citing constant money demand airplay on mainstream media and called on investors to help the genre grow.

He is set to release a new song 'My Time' this month.
