The Tescon president Hon. Hamza Sulaiman of the CHNTC did the welcoming and aired out the agenda for the meeting which was
1. Issues concerning membership ID card both Tescon and the Party Card
3. Office for tescon records keeping
4. Patronage and support in tescon Activities on campus
Mr. Agyenim Boateng, the Tano North Constituency Youth Organizer was given the Chairmanship which was duly accepted.
Concerning the Membership ID cards the president Hamza Sulaiman stated that it has been a big challenge to them because ideally, students are supposed to pay an amount for the purchase and which they (Students) complain. He proceeds handing over to the Chairman Mr Agyenim Boateng for any Concerns. Chairman Agyenim said the issue of the membership ID card is not a problem since last year they have been issuing to tertiary institutions which he made mentioned College of Health Yamfo as one of the nearby institution whose tescon members have had accesses. He further on said they are going to work on it now that it has been brought to their notice.
About the welfare, the president said loyal tescon members on campus have been struggling to pay their school fees which sometimes prevents them from participating in their exams, members fall sick and faces other financial challenges which needs the involvement of the executives. He again made a proposal that executives members of tescons at the various tescon institutions must be duly posted to their perspectives field of work and appointments should be given to those who desired working for the Noble PARTY.
In addition, Offices for keeping tescon data base was another key point the president raised up. Tescon data base are kept unsafe due to not having a particular place for keeping documents and a computer. He therefore proposed that the Youth Organizers as the commanders to the various tescon institutions should initiate such policies which when implemented will improve the potency of the president and executives task.
Lastly, another vital point was stated by the president, thus patronaging and supporting tescon activities. Since we are the future leaders in the Party we must be trained well so that in the future we can also be able to execute some tasks in the Party
In conclusion, The commander, Hon. KENNETH KWAKU KAUNDA said he is a seed of tescon and tescon is very important to him and the party. He further on said NPP is a party that rewards, hence we should take our responsibilities as tescon executives as our priority. Commander Kenneth the Deputy Youth Organizer for the newly created region Ahafo proceeds on by saying tescon is an intellectual eye for the party-NPP and for that matter they would always attend to our calls either in the rain or under hot sunshine, during a day or a midnight. He said they are to strengthen tescon across the region and to the nationwide. He shortened his speech by saying on the issues on the membership ID cards, welfare, Offices for tescon to keep data bases and patronaging and supporting tescon activities are rest assured. He said his able boss Hon. David Adu Boateng Jnr, the Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer-NPP and other competent Regional executives will not turn our hands down.
