While we continue to wait for Kanye West’s highly anticipated Jesus Is King LP, the trailer for the album’s accompanying visual experience is here. The project’s release was previously delayed after Ye originally announced it was dropping on September 27, only to change the date to September 29 at the last minute — a date the rapper also missed. With October 25 being the new release date for Jesus Is King, IMAX recently unveiled a new one-minute long trailer for West’s film of the same name. The teaser includes a look at artist James Turrell’s Roden Crater, a never-before-seen art installation in Arizona’s Painted Desert, where most of the Nick Knight-directed visual was shot.
“This one-of-a-kind experience features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition,” reads the synopsis for the film, “along with new music from his forthcoming album Jesus Is King—all presented in the immersive sound and stunning clarity of The IMAX Experience.”
